Omakase

Omakase by Icerock reveals itself through a Japanese lens for the second year of the Kibo Competition. Omakase elaborates on the fundamentals of Shintoism in an aesthetically unique way by showcasing a two-faced build displaying prominent cultural symbolism in the front and a gluttonous omakase made to lure in unsuspecting mortals into Yomi (Land of Darkness in Japanese Mythology). The build beautifully completes its full story through the carved depictions in the back, a visual metaphor of Izanagi and Inazami sealing the gate to the underworld.
